About Me

undergrad RN
I'm a twenty-something Canadian student. After stumbling through a few years of college, I finally managed to get into the nursing school of my dreams, where I hope to graduate in 2012 with a nursing baccalaureate degree. I want to offer an honest look into how a modern nurse is educated, both good and bad. Eventually I hope to compare my education to my day-to-day career and see how it holds up. Whatever happens, it should be somewhat entertaining. Find me on allnurses.com!

Yay!

Pharmacology final grade: A

Do I feel the mark reflects my actual knowledge of pharmacology? NO!
Will the mark affect my eligibility for scholarships? Yes!

I'll take it.

Congratulations! Like Tara mentioned, I am also NOT excited for pharmacology, but we all have to go through it.

Congrats on the A! Studying this stuff in class isn't easy for me, but once I put it to actual use during clinicals I was able to grasp it better.

Our Pharmacology was combined with our Anatomy and Physiology, so we don't actually have to take any courses on Pharm specifically.. weird, eh? As if A+P wasn't a hard enough class on it's own... they decided to throw an extra class in there too lol.

Congrats on the A, and it feels wonderful to have that class out of the way now doesn't it!?

Blaaahhhh I'm so glad it's over :) As a joke, the prof put a final question on the test:

So, Pharmacology is now over. Immediately following this test, you will:

a) Impress your friends with your knowledge
b) Diagnose everyone you know and recommend medications
c) Forget it all the second you leave the building
d) Walk across the street for a stiff drink

I chose A. lol

WTG!! I felt the EXACT same way with my A in Pharm. I just knew how to pass the tests... not sure I KNOW all the meds yet.
